How annoying

I was going to skate last night.

I was going to skate last night, having only skated once in the last week and a half, due to Evil Winter Viruses.

I was going to skate last night, and rushed out the door at my temporary flat and cat-sitting abode in Kentish Town, in the freezing cold weather, waited for a bus and got to the ice rink in super early time.

"The ice rink is closed due to unforeseen circumstances".

A gas leak. Harumph . . .

By this point, it was too late to try and make it up to patch at Ally Pally, so I had to traipse home again. I will try and make patch tonight, not a usual night for me, but still . . .
